The Beaverton Area Business Association (BABA) is a network of local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners working together to keep Beaverton vibrant. We promote our members, support community events, and connect people with the places and services that make this area a great place to live, work, and visit.
Every member, event, and partnership adds up to a stronger Beaverton.
As a chamber-style organization, BABA focuses on practical, local support. Here’s how we serve our members and our community every day.
We maintain an online directory that makes it easy for residents and visitors to find local businesses, services, and organizations. Members gain increased visibility through listings, features, and shared promotions.
From the July 4th Parade to seasonal shopping promotions, we help plan, promote, and support events that bring people into Beaverton and into our local businesses.
Monthly meetings and networking opportunities give members space to share updates, learn from each other, and build relationships that lead to referrals and partnerships.
We collaborate with the City of Beaverton, schools, nonprofits, and civic groups on projects that improve the community, strengthen downtown, and attract new investment.
BABA serves as a collective voice for local businesses, supporting initiatives that make it easier to start, grow, and sustain a business in the Beaverton area.
We share news, announcements, and practical resources so members and residents can stay informed about what’s happening in Beaverton and how to get involved.

Some folks wait all year to see a groundhog’s shadow…
But here in Downtown Beaverton, we put our faith in something far more reliable: The Mighty Beaver
After a careful deliberation (and possibly some tail-slapping), the Beaver has spoken. And we can officially report: There will be 2 to 12 weeks of winter remaining.
As always, the Beaver has never let us down—mostly because no one has dared to question him. Stay warm friends, and trust the Beaver, Spring WILL arrive....eventually. ... See MoreSee Less

The Beaverton Area Business Association held its Annual Meeting on January 14 at the Beaverton Tavern, and it was a great success!
The meeting was well attended and kicked off with a welcome address from Miss Gladwin County, Bree Visser, along with introductions of the 2026 Miss Gladwin County contestants. The event also included the election of the 2026 BABA officers, the unveiling of our new BABA website, and an exciting presentation on using Artificial Intelligence in small businesses by Karin Jensen of the Small Business Development Center.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead for BABA and our local business community! ... See MoreSee Less
